Description
1 and 2 Manor Cottages is a pair of cottages that originated as a house in the 17th century and underwent later alterations. The building is constructed of brick and flint, with a thatched roof and features a lobby entrance type plan. It stands two storeys tall and has six bays. The left side has a flint plinth and is built in English bond brick, with the upper storey recessed. The right side has a brick plinth and is constructed in Flemish bond brick. On the ground floor and first floor, there are two-light blocked mullions located at the far right of the facade within the flint wall. The windows include 19th and 20th-century casements. There is a 20th-century porch at the door beneath the axial stack, as well as a similar porch at the door in the fourth bay. The right gable end features a stack, while the left gable wall is made of brick and has a blocked six-light mullion window at the attic level, along with two blocked windows in the liable wall of flint at the attic level.
