Description
12 and 13 White Post Road are a pair of cottages, likely built in the 17th century. They are constructed from brick and flint, with a thatched roof and a rectangular layout. The cottages feature a flint plinth and are one and a half storeys tall, showcasing random window arrangements. There are two 18th-century leaded casement windows, one adorned with decorative bargeboards. The cottages also have three gabled dormers, each with bargeboards. The front brickwork is splayed in line with an off-centre axial stack that has four lozenge-shaped chimney shafts. The right-hand gable is hipped, while the left-hand gable has a parapet and an external stack. To the left, there is a pantiled lean-to. The rear wall is made of flint with brick dressings and also features three gabled dormers. Access to the interior was not possible.
