Description

The Thatched Cottage is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage, built of flint with brick dressings and thatched roofing. It has a rectangular plan with later additions. The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high and comprises five bays. It features 20th-century casement windows set beneath segmental arches. A central, gabled porch was added in the 20th century, and there are three eyebrow dormers. The gables are topped with brick copings. Two internal gable end stacks are present. An outshut, with pantile roofs, adjoins each gable. A 20th-century extension has been built to the rear.
