Description
Lacey Farm is a house dating from the 16th century and later, constructed of brick and flint with a thatched roof. The front is made of brick and features two storeys with uneven window placements. The ground floor has 20th-century casement windows in original openings beneath flat brick arches, while there is a 20th-century door located to the left of centre. The upper floor has 19th-century casement windows. Internal gable stacks are present, and the left gable wall does not bond with the rest of the structure, indicating that the house was originally timber framed. The left gable wall is made of flint with brick quoins and has two blocked two-light brick mullion windows on the first floor, which are covered by hood-moulds. There are also two blocked single light windows in the attic, also under hood-moulds. At the back, there is a 20th-century lean-to. Additionally, there is a 19th-century one and a half storey range that extends at right angles to the back of the house, featuring casement windows under segmental arches and eyebrow dormers.
