It is built of coursed rubble with brick stacks and has a slate roof, featuring a course of stone slate at the front eaves. The building has a plain symmetrical design and includes a large 20th-century wing at the rear, on the right side. The central entrance features a 6-panel door beneath a concrete lintel, accessed by a concrete step. The left gable is plain, while the right gable has one 2-light casement on the first floor and two on the ground floor. There are brick gable stacks and a large 20th-century brick extension.
