Description

This is a row of three late 18th or early 19th century cottages located on Chamberlaine Road in Wyke Regis, Weymouth. The cottages are built of painted rubble, with number 9 rendered, and have concrete tile roofs. Numbers 7 and 9 were originally built as a pair, while number 11 is slightly set down, following the hill slope. Each cottage is two storeys high with an attic, and has a single window to the front. The windows are 12-pane sashes with flush boxes. A 20th-century door is located to the left of each window. Numbers 7 and 9 have a large 20th-century dormer to the rear slope, and number 11 has a smaller dormer to the front with a single square window. The right gable wall contains two small windows. The cottages have three ridge stacks. The interiors have not been inspected.
