Description

This is a group of seven mid-19th century terrace cottages located in Prospect Place, Weston. The cottages are set in a stepped arrangement, with two cottages raised above the rest. They are constructed of limestone rubble with freestone quoins and architraves, and have pantile roofs with moulded stacks rising from the party walls. The cottages have one, two, or three room plans, with later rear extensions.

The frontages are two storeys high, exhibiting one, two, or three window ranges, with two-over-two pane sash windows throughout. The ground floor doors are modern. Number 11 has a single-window range with two sash windows. Numbers 12 are a symmetrical pair of three-window cottages, including a blind window on the party wall. Numbers 14-16 have a two-window range with entrances on the left. Number 17 has a three-window range with a door on the left. The interior of the cottages has not been inspected.
