Description
The tomb of Charlotte, Viscountess Newcomen of Mosstown, dates from around 1817 and is located in the Church of All Saints churchyard, to the north-east of the church near the boundary wall. It is a rectangular chest tomb made of Bath and Pennant stone, featuring Carrara marble armorial reliefs on the sides. The tomb is topped with a damaged draped urn. It is recognized as a handsome neo-classical churchyard memorial. Lady Newcomen was the wife of an Irish peer. This tomb is marked as number 161 on the churchyard plan.
