Description
The Fullerton and Dobree Tombs are mid-18th century monuments made of Bath stone, located in the churchyard of All Saints Church, to the east of the chancel and south of the path. These tombs are among the earliest surviving monuments in the churchyard and consist of two rectangular chest tombs with projecting ends. Each tomb features fielded inscription panels and a two-stage gadrooned cover. On the east end of each tomb is an armorial cartouche, while the west end displays a crest, possibly a thistle. The inscription panels on the sides have been lost. These provincial Baroque monuments are very much a pair and are attributed to the Cotswold school of memorial masons. They are referenced as Nos 284 and 295 on the churchyard plan.
