Description

The tomb of T.G. Smythies, located in the churchyard of All Saints, dates from around 1871 and is signed by the sculptor "Rogers." It is made of pennant stone and designed in the Gothic Revival style. The tomb features a cross fleury shaft in relief that forms the ridge of the pitched body stone. An incised inscription commemorates Reverend Thomas Gosselin Smythies, who was the Vicar of St John's in Cinderford. The tomb is situated at 57a.
