Description
A row of three cottages dating from the early 19th century, built in a style reminiscent of the 17th century. The cottages are constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings and have a pantiled roof with coped verges. They feature ashlar stacks with cornices. Each cottage is single-storied with an attic space, and is topped with a steep gable, the coping of which is supported by moulded kneelers. Each cottage has a single two-light casement window set within an ovolo moulded surround. A single-storey, single-bay extension to the right of number 15 features a further window. Doors are located to the right of each cottage, all set within plain chamfered surrounds. Number 15 has two plank doors, while numbers 13 and 14 have 20th-century replacement doors. Numbers 14 and the left-hand door of number 15 have 20th-century porches.
