Description

The monument to the Eckersall family is a chest tomb located in the churchyard to the east of St. Mary's Church. The earliest legible date on the tomb is 1837. It is constructed of ashlar and features inscribed square panels, a moulded plinth, and a cornice. The tomb has a low gabled top with enriched tympana.
