Description

The Eckley memorial is a pedestal tomb located approximately 2 meters north-west of the nave of the Church of St Mary in Credenhill. It dates from 1780 and is constructed of sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a moulded plinth and capping, topped with an urn finial. Below the capping, there is a band of reeding, and the inscription panel is oval with florettes in the spandrels.
