Description

The monument to Susanna Ogle, who died in 1820, is located in the churchyard to the south of St. Mary's Church in Claverton. This chest tomb is made of ashlar and is raised on three steps. It features inscribed square panels, a moulded plinth and cornice, and a blocking course adorned with engaged acroteria in the shape of anthemion and lunettes.
