Description

The Old Barn, also known as Poorhouse Barn, is a former barn that has been converted into two houses. It dates back to the 18th century. The building features walls that are part plastered, part stone, and part brick, topped with a tiled roof. It stands two storeys high and has a large central cart porch that projects outward and has a hipped roof. The lower section of the cart porch is glazed and supported by heavy timber mullions, while the upper part is weatherboarded and includes a hardwood casement window. On either side of the cart porch, there are single-storey porches with tiled roofs. The ground and first floors have modern hardwood casement windows.
