Description

The Nest is an 18th-century building located on the northwest side of Sherborne Lane. It is two storeys high and features one window bay along with a doorway that faces Sherborne Lane. The building has a thatched roof and a roughcast front. It includes sash windows with glazing bars and a wood trellised porch. The entrance has a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed. On the northeast return, there are paired sash windows both above and below. The Nest is part of a group that includes Nos 6 to 10 and Nos 13 to 19, as well as Nos 35 to 37.
