Description

The Talmins is a 18th-century building located on the north side of Baldock Street, designated as No. 19. The facade is finished in stucco and features an old tiled roof that is hipped at the front, complemented by a wooden cornice with modillions and three hipped dormers. The building stands two storeys tall with attics and includes five sash windows with glazing bars, along with louvered shutters on the left floor. There is a three-light window on the right side of the ground floor. The doorway, positioned to the right of centre, is adorned with an entablature supported by fluted Doric pilasters. The Talmins is part of a group that includes Nos 19A, 21, and 23.
