Description

These are a pair of buildings, located at 19A and 21 Baldock Street. The buildings likely date from the 17th century or earlier, and were later given a 19th-century facade. They are constructed of red brick with some areas of gault brick re-facing. The roofs are tiled, with two hipped dormers. The buildings are two storeys high with attics, and feature a cornice. The windows are sash windows, some of which contain glazing bars. Number 19A is a single storey with an attic, featuring a gabled half-dormer with decorative bargeboards. It also has one sash window and two tall sash windows. Numbers 19, 19A, 21 and 23 form a notable group.
