Description

BROAD STREET 1. 1357 (South West Side) No 31 (Volunteer Inn Public House) SY 3492 1/95 II GV 2. Later C19 front to older core. 2 storeys and attic. 3 window bays. Slate roof. Wide eaves. Pebble mosaic cladding above ground floor; ground floor stuccoed. In attic, paired sash dormer to left hand with large 3-light gabled dormer to right hand. On 1st floor from left to right hand, 3-light splayed bay extending down to ground floor, sash window, and, at right hand end, splayed 3-light bay window, glazing bars with sashes. On ground floor, doorway in centre, and shallow rectangular 5-light bay at right hand end.

Nos 26 to 33 (consec) form a group.
