Description

This is a pair of buildings dating from the mid-19th century, located at 32 and 32A Broad Street. They are three storeys high, with one window bay each. The roofs are slate and gabled. The exterior is colourwashed rendered, with number 32A being slightly wider than number 32. Number 32 features a sash window with glazing bars on the second floor, a splayed three-light bay window with glazing bars on the first floor, and a plate glass shop front on the ground floor. To the right of the shop front is a four-panelled house door with a rectangular fanlight above, flanked by panelled pilasters, and topped with a cornice supported on shaped brackets. Number 32A has sash windows on the second and first floors, and a plate glass shop front on the ground floor. The buildings form a group with numbers 26 to 32A.
