Description
The Wrestler's Arms Public House, located at 10 New Street, dates from the mid to late 19th century. This three-storey building features a double front with three windows and has cellars. The roof is slated with paired, bracketed eaves. A plain sill band is present on the second floor. The exterior is finished in stucco, and the windows are recessed sash types with architraves and glazing bars on the first floor, along with moulded blind boxes. The ground floor has splayed bay windows with flanking panels, a modern fascia, and an oriel. The entrance includes a recessed doorway with a fanlight and a panelled door. The building is part of a group with Nos 10 to 18 (even).
