Description
Vernon House, located at 26 New Street, is a late 19th-century building designed in the Tudor style. It stands three storeys tall and features a double front with three windows. The roof is slated, adorned with parapeted gables and moulded eaves cornices. The exterior is constructed of yellow gault brick. The windows are recessed sash types, framed by stucco chamfered surrounds, complete with glazing bars and drip moulds. The entrance includes a flat arched doorway with a drip mould, a fanlight, and a panelled door.
