Description
Nos 24 and 26 on High Street is an 18th-century timber-framed building that shows signs of having been refronted twice, once in the late 18th century and again in the early 19th century. The building has two storeys and features two windows. It has a tiled roof and a painted brick frontage, with the earlier refronting showcasing a brick cornice. The later refronting includes first-floor sash windows that have flush frames and exposed boxing. The mid-19th-century wooden shopfronts are supported by pilasters that carry an entablature with a projecting cornice. The shop windows and doorways have been altered.
