The roof is gabled and covered with slate, while the stone walls are clad in roughcast with a parapet. The building has sash windows, including three-light sashes at both ends on the first and ground floors. The central doorway is adorned with pilasters that support a moulded and dentilled pediment. There are also cellars beneath the building. Temple House is part of a group that includes Nos 45 to 65 on the same street.
