Description

This is a mid-18th century detached cottage located on the east side of Darby Lane in Burton Bradstock. The cottage is built of rubble stone and has a thatched roof, with 20th-century brick stacks at each gable. It is two storeys high, featuring three windows on the front elevation. The windows are 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars, wooden sills and lintels, with a single-light window positioned centrally at the upper level. A plank front door, set within a wooden frame, is located at the centre of the facade and dates from the 19th century.
