Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage in a row, dating from around the middle of the 18th century. It has rubble stone walls with stone quoins, and a thatched roof with a west gable end. A brick stack is located in the party ridge between the cottage and its neighbour. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows, each with two lights and wooden casements containing glazing bars. Wooden cills and lintels are present. A plank door, located on the left-hand side, features a small glass light, which is a 20th-century addition, and is studded.
