Description
The Rectory is a detached building dating from the mid-19th century. It features rubble stone walls with stone dressings and a slate roof, which has stone gable copings and moulded kneelers. The building is designed in an L-shape, with the south range having two storeys and attics. The south elevation includes four windows, which are a mix of sashes with glazing bars, all framed by ovolo-moulded surrounds with labels. On the right side, there is a canted ground floor window bay that shares the same mouldings and has a stone roof.
The entrance porch is located on the west elevation at the angle of the building. It is gabled and has a roll-moulded coping, featuring a four-centred doorhead. The outer door is a two-leaf design with marginal glazing bars, while the inner door has flush panels and two glass lights, dating from the 19th century. Additionally, the west wall includes a canted bay with a massive central mullion.
