Description

The wall and gate piers enclosing the parish churchyard in Burton Bradstock date from the 18th century or later. The wall is constructed of coursed rubble stone and features flat coping stones. There are two sets of ashlar gate piers, each topped with low pyramidal cap stones; one set is located at the center of the north wall, and the other is at the corner with Mill Street. Additionally, cast-iron railings are integrated into the coping stones, adorned with fleur-de-lis heads. Between each pair of piers, there are cast-iron carriage-lamp supports.
