Description
The gate piers and gate to the churchyard, along with the adjacent walls, date from around 1880. The gate piers are made of ashlar stone, while the walls are constructed from squared, tooled stone. The gates feature wrought-iron work, with square piers that have chamfered caps supporting gates with lanceolate standards. Above the gates is an ogival overthrow adorned with a fleur-de-lys terminal. The flanking walls have arched coping, and the wall to the left ends in a pier with a chamfered cap. Incorporated into the wall to the right of the pier is the head of a cross slab from around 1200. The wall to the right of the gate extends eastward along the lane and includes a low segmental arch at its base, with a small gate featuring arched monolith piers. The end of this wall is ramped up and steps forward.
