Description
This is a cartshed with a granary above, along with yard walls, a privy, and a shed, built around 1740 with some minor alterations around 1880. The structure is made of squared stone with cut quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The cartshed, located on the east side of the yard, is two storeys high and has two bays. It features segmental-arched cart entrances, with the left entrance having double doors and the right entrance being blocked, now fitted with a boarded door and a three-pane overlight above. There is a blocked chamfered window above the left arch and a boarded window above the right. The gables have moulded kneelers and overlapped slab coping. To the left is a yard wall that connects to an attached privy, which has a boarded door set in a chamfered surround on its right side. The shed has a gabled roof with a coped gable and a later timber return on the right. The wall at the north end of the yard connects the shed to the stable range and features a gateway with plain jambs.
