Description
The wall, piers, and gate on the west side of the churchyard date from around 1877. They are constructed from rubble with decorative dressings and feature wrought iron elements. The low wall has a broad flat coping that sweeps back in a quadrant to the left of the churchyard gate. The coping ramps up to form piers that support the gate, which has lily finials on the standards and spearhead dogbars. On the far right, the wall ends in a similar but taller pier at the entrance to the vicarage drive. On the far left, the wall connects to an altered 19th-century house, which is not of particular interest.
