House and byre, early C19 incorporating earlier fabric. House roughly-coursed stone with rusticated tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, byre rubble with tooled-and-margined dressings; slate roof. House 2 storeys, 2 wide bays. Left-of-centre part-glazed door with 4-pane overlight; 16-pane sash windows; all openings with keyed lintels. To left byre with hayloft over, 1 bay: 4-pane casement with part-slatted window above. Coped gables with kneelers, stone right end and ridge stacks. Left return shows central boarded door with tooled-and-margined alternating-block surround. Small parallel wing at rear of house may be later addition.
