ST BREOCK BROCTON SX 06 NW 7/63 Cottage 150 metres to north of West Park

GV II

House. Circa early C19 extended in later C19. Roughly coursed stone ashlar. Rag slate roof with gable ends and brick end stacks. Plan: 2-room and cross passage plan heated by end stacks. Extended in circa late C19 with a 1-room plan extension, heated by an end stack. C20 porch added on front right. Exterior: 2-storeys. Regular 3:1 window front with later C19 extension on right. Dressed stone segmental arches and early C19 16-pane sashes. 2 sashes on ground floor flank a C20 door with 2 sashes above. Blind window above entrance. To right a C20 porch with a later C19 16-pane sash above. Interior: Not inspected. One of 3 similar cottages (qv West Park and Farmhouse and adjoining cottage 90 metres to north west of West Park) on west side of an unspoilt and picturesque valley.
