Description
Nos. 15 and 17 Church Road are a pair of cottages, likely built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from uncoursed rubble and painted white, topped with a slate roof. The cottages have a shallow double-depth plan and are single-fronted, standing two low storeys high with one bay each, creating a symmetrical appearance. The central entrance features coupled doorways with plain surrounds. The cottages have small four-pane sash windows with exposed boxes, and the first-floor windows break into the eaves. Gable chimneys are present on each cottage. Inside, there is a direct entry into a very small front room, with a staircase rising from the back room.
