Description
Nos. 2 and 4 Church Road are a pair of cottages built around 1800. They feature white painted render and a low-pitched hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. The cottages have a square two-bay plan, with each cottage occupying one bay and porches on the sides. They are two storeys high, with two windows on each floor. Each window consists of two arched lights with geometrical leaded glazing. The cottages also have lean-to porches and two square chimneys on the ridge. The interior has not been inspected, but during the initial survey, No. 2 was noted to have a small hob-grate on the first floor.
