Description
No. 21, West Street is a late 18th or early 19th century house located in Liskeard. The ground floor is rendered, with slate hanging above, and the rear is weatherboarded. The roof is dry Delabole slate, sweeping lower at the rear. A rendered rubble stack is situated on the right-hand side. It has a double-depth plan and a symmetrical three-window front. The windows are late 19th century four-pane horned sashes, set within late 19th century bay windows with moulded cornices. A wide central doorway is flanked by pilasters, and features a recessed six-panel door with the upper four panels glazed. A probable oven projection is visible on the left-hand return. The rear of the property has an old split planked door. The interior has not been inspected.
