Town house, now office. 1865 date plaque and shield inscribed: AGL/ G. Polychrome masonry front with granite plinth coping and freestone dressings; slatehanging to 1st floor of right-hand return and rear; hipped dry Delabole slate roof over a modillion cornice. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Horned sashes. Stop-chamfered surrounds to 1st-floor windows, that on left mullioned and tripartite. Impost string linked to segmental hoodmoulds over ground-floor openings in chamfered segmental-arched reveals; window with stepped round-arched lights with columns attached to mullions and 6-panel door with 2-pane overlight. Rear has 2/4-pane sashes over 2/2-pane sashes. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest. Included for group value.
