Description
No 1 and 3 Tredrea Road is a house dating from around the mid-19th century. The front is stuccoed, while the rest is painted rubble. It has a hipped roof covered with grouted scantle slate and a brick chimney on the left-hand side wall. The gutters are made of cast iron and have an ogee shape.
The building has a double depth plan, featuring two rooms at the front, with the right-hand room being wider. These rooms flank a central entrance hall that leads to a stair hall situated between the rear service rooms. There is a later 19th-century lean-to addition on the left side.
The exterior is two storeys high and features a nearly symmetrical three-window front facing northwest, with a doorway positioned centrally among the windows. The building has a plinth and panelled architraves. The original panelled door includes an overlight, and the windows are original 12-pane hornless sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
