No 86 is a house located on High Street, dating from the mid-19th century. The ground floor is channelled stucco, while the upper floors are constructed of gault brick with stuccoed rusticated quoins. It features a plinth and moulded cill bands, with the band below the first-floor windows serving as raised panelled bases for the windows. The deep eaves cornice is supported by paired brackets. The slate roof has large stacks on both the right and left sides. The building has three storeys and a regular three-window front, with margin-light sash windows that have entablature hoods above the first-floor windows and architrave surrounds for all windows above the ground floor. The ground floor has hound-headed windows set in recesses, complete with bracketed cills, impost mouldings, and brackets. To the left, there is a round-arched recessed doorway featuring impost mouldings and brackets above, leading to a panelled door with an arch-light above it.
