Description
Nos 159 and 160 on High Street are a pair of houses that have been converted into shops. They date back to the 17th century but feature an early 19th-century front. The exterior is covered in painted mathematical tiles and has a moulded wooden cornice above a plain tiled roof, which includes a central stack located behind the ridge and two hipped dormers. The building has three storeys and attics, with a two-window front. The first and second floors have tripartite sashes set in shallow segmental bows. To the left, there is a half-glazed door, while the shopfronts include a double shopfront with an inset door to the left of centre and a single shopfront to the right, which also has a half-glazed door.
