Description

Nos 83 and 83A on High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the early 19th century. The shopfront below features mathematically-tiled over a plastered frame. There is a deep moulded cornice at the parapet that conceals the roof. The building has three storeys and a regular three-window front, with sashes set in moulded window surrounds. The ground floor has a 20th-century double shopfront with a central entrance, located in the left shop front, and a passageway leading to the shop and first-floor entrance in the right-hand shop front.
