Description

No 79 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building features a stucco front with a rusticated ground floor. There is a string course above the ground floor and a cill band below the second floor. The roofline includes a moulded cornice and a parapet, with an added fourth floor from the 20th century. The structure has four storeys and a regular two-window front, with glazing bar sash windows. To the left, there is a small 20th-century neo-Regency double shop front, and the doorway is located on the right.
