Description
Nos 67 and 67A on High Street is a house with a shop, featuring a late 18th-century facade. The building is constructed of red brick and has a Kent tile roof, along with a modern lateral brick stack. It stands three storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window arrangement. The parapet has been rebuilt and includes stone coping and a cornice band. All upper windows feature rubbed brick flat arches and stone sills, with 12-pane hornless sashes set in reveals. The ground floor retains some elements of an 18th-century shop front, with doorways on each side that have rectangular overlights containing decorative glazing bars. The left door has fielded panels, while the other is a 20th-century glazed door. Between the doorways are two late 19th-century round-headed shop windows. At the rear, there is one 16-pane hornless sash window on each floor, along with a 20th-century extension. The interior has not been inspected.
