Description

This is an early to mid-18th century house with a shop. The front is stuccoed brick with a Welsh slate roof, including a two-light dormer window. The house is three storeys high and has a regular two-window front. A moulded cornice runs along the top, with guttering supported by long struts. The upper floors contain twelve-pane hornless sash windows with moulded frames. The shop front was added in the early 20th century, featuring an off-centre doorway, plate-glass windows, a moulded cornice with console brackets, a pilaster, and a panelled plinth. The rear of the building, appearing to date from the mid-19th century, is three and a half storeys high and has a two-window range with nine and twelve-pane hornless sash windows. Internal panelled shutters are visible to the first floor, though the interior has not been inspected.
