Description
Woodbine is a house, likely originally a shop, built around the 1860s. It features walls made of killas and granite rubble with granite dressings, topped by a hipped scantle slate roof with wide eaves. The building has a double depth plan, consisting of two rooms at the front that flank a central entrance hall, which leads to a stair hall situated between the rear service rooms. The front right-hand room has a large window opening and was probably the original shop. The exterior is two-storeys high with a symmetrical three-window arrangement on the north-east front, although the ground floor right-hand window is wider. There is a central doorway with a 20th-century door. The original windows are hornless sashes with marginal panes, except for the paired sash window on the ground floor right, which was likely added in the early 20th century to replace the shop window. The interior has not been inspected.
