Description
The stable block, located approximately 50 meters northwest of Trelissick House, dates from the mid-19th century. It features slatestone rubble construction with brick arches and a hipped dry Delabole slate roof. The building has a long rectangular plan with a single-storey outshut at the rear of the left end. The two-storey section on the left has a six-window west front that overlooks the courtyard, arranged as two sets of three windows, each with a central doorway. The windows are modern casements, and there are modern ledged and braced doors. Shallow arches are present over the openings. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value with Trelissick House.
