Description
This is an 18th-century quay located to the east and south of Quay Cottage, by King Harry Ferry. It is constructed from slatestone rubble, featuring iron-stapled granite copings and granite steps. The quay walling surrounds a roughly rectangular landing area, with a vertically-set dry stone wall that is battered, and horizontally-bedded walling near the 19th-century steps in the southern angle. Above the copings, there is a wooden fence made of posts, rails, and dowels. The quay is situated on the shore of King Harry Passage on the River Fal.
