Description
No 50 is a house located on Fore Street in Port Isaac, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered and stuccoed stone rubble, with slate hanging above the ground floor. The house features a slate roof with gable ends and a brick chimney stack on the left-hand gable end. The layout likely consists of two rooms with a cross passage, with a larger heated room on the left side.
The building has two storeys and an asymmetrical front with two windows. The front features probably 19th-century four-pane sash windows flanking a 20th-century entrance door, which is positioned to the right of centre. The first floor also has two similar sash windows. There is a slate-hung extension on the left-hand gable end. The prominent elevation on Fore Street is visible from the harbour. The interior has not been inspected.
