Pentus Wall And Store Below Between Nos 13 And 15

Pentus Wall and the store below between Nos 13 and 15 is a Grade II listed structure located in Port Isaac, specifically on the west side of Fore Street. This building, dating from around the mid-19th century, was originally used as fish cellars for storing equipment and serves as a retaining wall for the road above. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a lean-to slate roof with gable ends. The structure consists of five stores built against Pentus Wall at the rear, with a single-storey elevation facing the harbour that includes five plank doors. There is a small extension at the right-hand end with a weather-boarded front. The stone rubble wall at the rear acts as a retaining wall for the road. This building is included for its group value, as it contributes to the picturesque character of the harbour in Port Isaac.
