Description
Cosy Cot is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of rendered and painted stone rubble, topped with an asbestos slate and rag slate roof that has hipped ends at both the front and rear. A rendered rear lateral chimney stack made of stone rubble and brick is present.
The cottage has a one-room plan with the entrance located on the right side, likely leading directly into the ground floor room. It stands two storeys tall and features a regular single-window front. The ground floor includes a partly glazed 20th-century stable-type door on the right, which has a timber lintel, and a 19th-century 16-pane hornless sash window on the left, present on both the ground and first floors. The interior has not been inspected.
